THIS IS THE BEST COMMERCIAL EVER

I’ve reblogged this so many times because I truly think every parent should involve themselves with what their child enjoys.

Not to mention this is an act of solidarity. He’s saying “even if the entire world is against you, I’m on your side.” Which I think is important for a kid to know. He’s refusing to be a bully to his child, even if he doesn’t understand.

I work at Hot Topic and we had a white suburban dad in who was buying matching heavy metal/screamo band shirts for him and his teenage daughter and said “To be honest, I think this stuff sounds like garbage, but she likes it so we listen to it together and we’re going to the concert for Christmas.” And it was just really heartwarming to see him so involved in his child’s life and validating her interests.

I WILL NEVER NOT REBLOG THIS.

No one follows my blog but I’m helping anyways.

  • I think someone needs to write a screenplay where we catch up with Natalie Portmans character from Leon now and have her be an assassin.

Nope! Nope! “Leon” is perfect. Perfect. The whole point of the ending is that she isn’t an assassin. Leon sacrificed his life in order for her to to change hers. We can’t allow that to be blemished!

Um… I’m very sorry to tell you that there was a sequel planned. And it was scrapped and the script was turned into Colombiana. So yea lets all pretend that never happened shall we?

    Well god damn it.

To celebrate the conclusion of Chapter 2 this week, dudenukem and I thought we’d have a little more gif fun. Our last one, accompanied by a whole process breakdown, was for the cover of Chapter 1. This one is the map of Sam’s home island of Cervaile; it may be tiny, but there’s still plenty to explore (unless you grew up there and find it totally boring, like she does).

Maps are super important to the story, and they’re going to play a huge role once we wrap our first adventure. We’re sort of thinking of this volume as that introductory section in every JRPG where you need to go to That Cave and find That Item for Reasons. Usually it’s to establish a sense of character and place and have a bit of fun before the real adventure begins, and that’s exactly what we’re doing here. The first volume wraps with Chapter 5, which we’re getting incredibly close to (at least on the production side).

Two chapters (right around 50 pages) are already up and ready for reading and P.S. are totally free, if you haven’t had a chance to check it out. Chapter 4 is written and in Alex’s hands, and some big excitement is about to kick off with Chapter 3, which is done and ready to roll out next week.

So basically what I’m saying is buff your stats and hold on to your butts (or butt your stats and hold on to your buffs - it’s your life, adventure buddy).

Okay but after seeing this I started doing it too and it’s amazing how many men I’ve run into bc they expected me to move

    Gotta try it

I work (and walk) on a college campus. I’ve lost count of how many men I’ve smacked shoulders with.

Recently, I was standing outside my son’s classroom waiting to talk to his teacher. I stood on one side of the hallway, not even close to the center. At some point, a man came walking along. I was standing right in his path, but the hallway was empty, so I logically expected him to swerve around me. Instead he kept walking right toward me, got to me, and stopped, as if waiting for me to get out of his way. I didn’t; I just smiled politely at him. He finally walked around me, clearly annoyed that I hadn’t leapt out of his manly path.

Now I’m wishing I’d leapt aside, taken off my jacket and laid it on the floor before him, then bowed deeply and said, “My Liege!”

I also work at a college campus. I smack shoulders sometimes, but I find that if I stare straight ahead and follow the advice below, people get the heck out of the way.

Honestly this post changed how I carry myself when walking alone in public, or in a situation where I’m the one leading. People definitely move for the murder gaze.

Murder gaze is my favourite thing. I use it always at home. I wish I could do it at conventions but I don’t want to scare the wrong people off :0

I usually tend to try to move out of the way for everyone. Because you know not an asshole :p

    Quick Question:
Why is the presence of women or people of color in comics “misandry” or “political correctness” and the dominance of white dudes just the way things are meant to be?
